Cookies at our site
We only set what's essential — technically necessary cookies always, everything else only after you click.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. They serve different purposes — from keeping you logged in to anonymous usage analytics.
2. Categories
We distinguish between three categories: technically necessary, analytics and marketing. Only the technically necessary cookies are set without your consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Section 25(2) TTDSG).
3. Technically necessary cookies
- _medusa_cache_id — Purpose: shopping cart and inspection booking context; Lifetime: session; Type: technical
- connect.sid / session — Purpose: session handling; Lifetime: session; Type: technical
- payload-token — Purpose: admin authentication (CMS area only); Lifetime: 2 hours; Type: technical
- cdw_consent — Purpose: stores your cookie consent; Lifetime: 12 months; Type: technical
4. Analytics cookies (only after consent)
- ph_* (PostHog, EU host) — Purpose: product analytics, feature usage; Lifetime: up to 12 months; Type: analytics
- ga* (Google Analytics 4, planned) — Purpose: aggregated usage statistics; Lifetime: up to 14 months; Type: analytics
5. Marketing cookies
We currently do not set any marketing cookies. Should we use advertising cookies in the future, we will only activate them after your express consent and list them here.
6. Tracking without cookies
We store UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage — this is not a cookie. This information is only retained for the current browser session and is deleted when you close the tab.
7. Changing your settings
You can change your cookie settings at any time: click on „Cookie settings“ in the footer or reset your cdw_consent cookie in your browser settings. A withdrawal takes effect from the moment of withdrawal.
8. Browser settings
Alternatively, you can block cookies entirely in your browser. Please note: doing so may prevent parts of our website (e.g. the booking form, login) from working properly.
